Silhouetted against the setting sun, the loops and spikes create a shimmering pattern in the golden hour light. The east wind sweeps over the field, generating undulating waves that resemble a slow, jazzy dance—like watching ripples unfold in a silk sheet. Now more mature, the golden reeds produce a deeper sound in the wind, a soft rattle and swoosh, like a soothing lullaby.
